Group Coordinator: Mary White (click to contact)
When

Weekly on Tuesdays at 10.30am (but this can change due to the weather).
Where

In a public space in Islington.

The pétanque groNewpage2up meets every TuesNewpage
1day at the Caledonian Park at 10.30am. Our pitch is by the clock tower; it’s a good spot with a café and toilets nearby.

Currently we have 35 members in the group, averaging around 16 each week.

Pétanque is not a difficult game to pick up, but, as they say, it takes a lifetime to master. While some members just come for a ligNewpage3ht hearted game or two, others have developed their game further by entering tournaments.

The most important part of the group apart from the game is the camaraderie which has been built and the friendships that have been formed. Nearly all of us started from scratch so no experience is necessary. If anyone is interested, get in touch and you will receive a warm welcome.
