Introduction

We are re-starting this group from April 2025. Convened by Sila Trevor.

Sila writes: "I have been an honorary mindfulness practitioner for seven years in NHS since qualifying, running drop-in workshops, mini retreats and workshops in addiction services. Mindfulness is proven to be beneficial but is still evolving. I am interested in working with older people like myself now. 

This will be a secular Mindfulness Group for Islington u3a to meet every week. No experience required and it will deepen any existing practice. Mindfulness is paying attention in present moment without judging (Jon Kabat Zinn)."
