Membership
Membership of Islington U3A (iU3A)
is open to people who are not in full time employment. We
have a wide range of events and activities, catering for
many different interests. For more details see our Home
page.
As a member you can sign up to
join interest groups, and attend monthly meetings and
special events. Once the membership fee has been paid most
activities are free and the only additional payments are for
extras such as tickets for visits, tickets for the theatre
or cinema, and some iU3A social events.
We would recommend, if you
want to join a particular Interest Group, that you check if
there is space in that group before joining iU3A. You can
check this by contacting the Group Coordinator through the
relevant group's webpage.
You can join at any time
throughout the year. If you join at the beginning of our
year (01 October) then membership is £30 for the full year
(2021-22).

Nationwide
iU3A is also a member of the wider U3A organisation, the Third Age Trust, whose events you will also be eligible to attend, as well as those of the London Region of U3A, a network of U3As in the area which provides support to each other but also organises regional events. We'll keep you up-to-date through this website and by sending you our Bulletin twice a month.
Helping Hand
iU3A relies on its volunteers. If you would like to contribute to the running of the organisation in any way, see further details on the About page.
